MARKET ON MAIN
We've got some big announcements to make today about our Farmers Market here in Eagle Lake!
The first big change that you may have already noticed is our new name; Market on Main! Short, sweet, and to the point, since from now on our markets will always be held right on Main St in downtown Eagle Lake. We love it on the square!
The next big change is WHEN we'll be holding the markets. From now on we'll be setting up on the First Friday of every month from 6pm to 9pm. That's right yall, we're an evening market now! And with how bad this heat has gotten, we couldn't have made that switch soon enough! Our next scheduled market date is for September 1st!
We'll also be switching our focus to artisan and handmade/ homegrown products. It's one of the best feelings in the world to buy a jar of jelly, or a loaf of bread, and know that the person who made it is standing right there handing it to you.
We'd love to hear yalls opinions on these new changes to our local market, and some suggestions for new vendors you'd like to see here! Feel free to tag them down below!
